All personal data processed by Iberia in relation to this Privacy Policy are the responsibility of Iberia Líneas Aéreas de España S.A. Operadora, Sociedad Unipersonal, with tax code A85850394 (hereinafter, "Iberia"), in its capacity as "data controller" under the applicable data protection legislation. PURPOSES AND LAWFULNESS OF PROCESSING
The data you provide through this Proposal Submission Form related to the celebration of IBERIA's Centenary will be used for the following purposes:
- Receive and manage your proposal, assessing its fit and alignment with the strategy designed by IBERIA in this regard
- Contact you to ask for additional information or comments regarding the proposal or the form, its scope or any modifications that IBERIA may consider applying
- And in general
We will process your data based on the EXPRESS INFORMED CONSENT that you are providing through your voluntary and generous participation in this initiative.
IBERIA does intend to carry out any automated processing of your data for the aforementioned purposes.
RETENTION OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA
We will keep your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose for which they are processed, and as long as you do not request their erasure and they remain necessary for IBERIA.
If you revoke the consent you have previously given us to process your data, or if you exercise your right to request the erasure of your personal data, please bear in mind that Iberia may be obliged to keep your data in locked format for the legal limitation period in case they are requested by any courts, tribunals or competent authorities, and to manage any legal responsibility arising from the processing of your data.
SHARING OF YOUR DATA
We may share your personal data with some of the IAG Group subsidiaries that provide us with support in the preparation and implementation of Iberia's Centenary events, including among others our own parent company "International Consolidated Airlines Group S.A. (IAG)", with the entities Avios Group Ltd, BA IAG Connect and IAG Transform, and with our technology subsidiary "Iberia LAE Solutions, S.L." We may also share your data with other third parties that we may involve in the preparation, management and organisation of Centenary commemorative events, which may include suppliers, consulting and advisory firms, law firms, intellectual property agents, etc.
Under no circumstances will we market or sell your data to third parties, and nor will we share them for a purpose other than those indicated in this privacy policy.
COUNTRIES TO WHICH WE SEND YOUR PERSONAL DATA
We do not envisage the processing of your personal data outside the European Economic Area ("EEA"), with the exception of processing by an IAG Group company that may be carried out in the United Kingdom, a jurisdiction which the European Union has recognised as a country with an adequate level of guarantees of your rights in terms of personal data protection.
YOUR RIGHTS WHEN YOU PROVIDE US WITH YOUR DATA COMPETENT SUPERVISORY AUTHORITY
If you wish to do so, you can exercise - without retroactive effect - the rights of access, correction and erasure or your data. You can also request the restriction of processing of your personal data, object to their processing, request the portability of your data, and not be subject to automated individual decisions, by sending an email to oficinadpo@iberia.es .
In order to respond properly to your request, please indicate "participation in the submission of proposals related to the celebration of Iberia's Centenary" in your email and provide the following information:
- Your full name
- Your contact details
- Any details which you think will help us to locate the information over which you are exercising your rights.
We will only ask you for evidence of your identification documentation (ID, passport, etc.) if we have reasonable doubts about your identity.
Lastly, if we are unable to satisfy your requests or the exercise of your data protection rights, you have the right to file a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency, which you can do through the agency's own website (www.aepd.es).
