São Paulo with Daniel Santoro Aragón

SAO 02

Daniel Santoro Aragón has been the Account Manager for Iberia and British Airways in Brazil since 2009. “I work to market our products with several travel agencies in the state of São Paulo,” he explains. “I am also currently NDC Champion for Brazil, bringing this new distribution option to travel agents”

THE BEST VIEWS
Circolo Italiano San Paolo, a club founded in 1911 by Italian immigrants, is located in the city’s fourth highest skyscraper. The views are spectacular from Terraço Itália, its top-floor restaurant, at 165m above ground. Farol Santander stands at 161m. The towering building of the Spanish bank, built in 1939 and a cultural reference in the city, also has great vistas, as does Hotel Unique, with its Skye Restaurant & Bar, opposite Ibirapuera Park.

A STROLL
For a decade, Avenida Paulista, one of the city’s main arteries, has been closed to traffic on Sundays. It has therefore become a meeting point for walking and cycling.

A CULTURAL STOP
Part of the University of São Paulo, the Museu do Ipiranga has been dedicated to history and tangible culture since its creation in 1894 as the Museu do Estado. It houses different exhibitions and hosts educational events and cultural activities in a building constructed between 1885 and 1890.

DON’T MISS
São Paulo’s gastronomic options, especially its Japanese, Italian and Thai cuisines, make São Paulo a culinary capital.

AS A FAMILY
Although it is not the largest, Ibirapuera Park is considered the most important green lung in the city, boasting 158 hectares and three interconnected lakes. It includes a complex of buildings designed by Oscar Niemeyer.
