Iberia has launched a recruitment process to incorporate EASA Part-66 B1 and B2 licensed Certifying Staff for its Line Maintenance teams, supporting the growth of both its operations and fleet.
The recruitment of new Certifying Staff responds to the growth envisaged in Iberia’s Flight Plan 2030. One of the key objectives of this plan is to expand the airline’s long-haul fleet to 70 aircraft and further strengthen Madrid-Barajas Airport’s role as one of the leading hubs between Europe and the Americas.
Certifying Staff play a key role in ensuring fleet safety and operational availability. Their responsibilities include inspecting and certifying maintenance work, as well as authorising the return to service of aircraft once maintenance tasks have been completed.
The profile Iberia is seeking
The company is seeking professionals holding a B1 and/or B2 aircraft maintenance licence and experience in the aircraft maintenance sector to join Iberia. Iberia’s maintenance division provides services to more than one hundred customers worldwide and has one of the largest aircraft maintenance capabilities in Southern Europe.
Particular consideration will be given to candidates holding type ratings on Airbus A320 CEO and NEO, A321XLR, A330 and A350 fleets, as well as up-to-date experience records. Candidates should also have a good command of technical English and hold a valid driving licence.
