For the third consecutive year, Iberia presents Espacio Iberia, this year at Gran Vía 48, with a more innovative edition than ever. Visitors will be able to enjoy the meals that the airline offers at 30,000 feet above sea level but without taking off from the ground, sitting in the seats of an A350; they will get behind the controls of a flight simulator, enjoy virtual reality experiences with Apple Pro Vision headsets, and take a trip back in time in a recreation of the airline's first airplane, the 1927 Rohrbach Roland. In addition, visitors can take part in wine, beer, and coffee tastings. And much more. All activities are free and available from 12pm to 9pm, Monday to Sunday.
Espacio Iberia also highlights the airline's commitment to sustainability –sharing the work it is carrying out to reduce emissions in its new generation of aircraft-, and innovation, since visitors can register in the new My Iberia private space and take advantage of the biometric boarding service, among others.
In addition, Espacio Iberia offers a reservation area, an Avios draw for new customers and a store where visitors can purchase iconic products.
Likewise, customers who will soon be traveling in Business class, as well as Iberia Plus Platinum and Infinita cardholders, can enjoy a Premium Lounge with panoramic views of the Gran Vía and a range of amenities.
Enjoy Magic Sundays
Every Sunday in June, Espacio Iberia transforms into a magical experience for families. In collaboration with Disney Destinations, Iberia presents Magic Sundays, with a special theme that will allow families to learn about and experience the airline’s flights and discover magical Disney destinations. The experience begins as soon as visitors arrive, when each family receives a boarding pass that guides them through the different activities and encourages them to look for the hidden Mickey Mouses that will give them the opportunity to take part in a magical raffle.
The experiences include virtual reality glasses with 360º images of the three Disney destinations (Walt Disney World Resort in Florida, Disneyland Paris, and Disney Cruise Line), screenings of short films and Disney content, and two interactive workshops: Disneyland Paris Animation Studio and Royal Dressing Room. In them, families have the opportunity to learn to draw their favourite Disney Characters with the help of the artist and Goya winner, Paco Sáez, and to participate in a face-painting workshop for all ages.
Additionally, in collaboration with the Juegaterapia Foundation, a special Disney edition of the famous "Baby Pelones" is available at the Espacio Iberia store.
With these activities, Espacio Iberia becomes the ideal destination to enjoy a magical and fun experience for the whole family.
