With an image 20 metres high and 39 meters wide, Iberia will be projecting ”Gracias, Héroes”, a tribute to all the people fighting COVID-19, on the front of its Madrid headquarters building.
The legend “Gracias, Héroes”, alternating with an image of the red and yellow colours of the Spanish flag, will be projected from 21:30h to 23:30h on the airline’s main office building tonight, Monday and Tuesday. It will be projected from a distance of almost 80 metres, and can be easily viewed from the intersection of the M30 ring road and the A2 motorway to Barcelona.
It is the airline’s tribute to health workers and researchers, firefighters, military and security forces personnel, the makers of medical supplies, and the people who deliver them to where they are needed.
The message is also intended for people doing vital work during the crisis: drivers, carers, supermarket staff, farmers, fishermen, and many others.
It is also a tribute to the people infected with the disease and their families, and to the million of citizens who are staying home to help stop its spread, and most particularly to seniors and children.
Iberia also wants to thank its employees for their dedication and commitment to the company since the COVID-19 crisis began.
Sunday, Monday and Tuesday at 9:30 p.m.
This huge projection is made from a distance of almost 80 meters and can be viewed today, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday from 9:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. on Iberia headquarters, in the intersection of the M30 ring road and the A2 motorway to Barcelona.
Iberia thanks Madrid Council and the local Police for their help in processing licenses and logistics to carry out the projection.
