Iberia Operates Some Hundred Charter Operations in August, with Sport as the Main Protagonist

• The Spanish airline will bring back from Paris the athletes who took part in the Olympic Games, and the members of the Spanish Olympic Committee.

 

Iberia increased its charter flights for this summer and in August it will operate nearly a hundred special flights. A total of 99 take-offs are being operated outside the airline’s regular schedule for cruise companies, tour operators, and travel agencies, as well as a range of events, including the return of Spanish athletes from Paris after participating in the Olympic Games.

Iberia will continue to offer its services during the month of August to cruise companies. Among the destinations of these operations are Hamburg, Athens, Catania, Trieste, Venice, Bari, and Copenhagen.

Additionally, the airline operates special flights for the tour operator Sama Travel, but with a change of destination: Istanbul and Izmir (Turkey).
