Iberia enters the new year presenting a new publication for premium customers. Called óN, the new quarterly in-flight magazine will deal with the latest global trends, but with a Spanish accent, just like the global Spanish airline itself.
Each issue will be a monograph on a single theme, and in the first issue the theme is innovation, which happens to be one of Iberia’s priorities. The issue features articles about people breaking new ground in science and technology, food and fashion, and architecture –the maiden issue of óN contains an exclusive interview with Norman Foster.

“At Iberia we firmly believe in digital transformation, innovation, and the related search for new business opportunities. That’s why we wanted to dedicate the first issue of óN to innovation. Who would have guessed a few years ago that we'd be able to book a flight by talking to a virtual assistant. or identify ourselves biometrically at the airport?” commented Gabriel Perdiguero, Iberia’s Transformation Manager, who wrote the welcome to readers for the first issue,
Juan Cierco, Iberia’s Corporate Manager, said “We want óN to be a magazine our high-flying readers can enjoy, and to surprise them, inspire them, and even point to solutions they can use”.
The first issue will be available on to Business passengers on Iberia flights starting on 1 January. They will also be on hand in Iberia VIP lounges, and can be viewed on line as of today on Iberia’s corporate website https://grupo.iberia.es/magazines.
About the Cover
“We wanted to create an eye-catching cover that would reflect the magazine’s contents, while featuring the publication’s name as part of the composition. It will appear that way on all issues. Seeking inspiration from innovation and architecture, the creative studio hitandrun came up with a very futuristic look for the cover, in keeping with the innovation theme,” explained Jesús Huarte, the managing editor.
The magazine is produced in Madrid by the CEDAR contents agency.
