Spain’s Royal Handball Federation and Iberia this morning signed an agreement making the Spanish airline an official sponsor of the men’s and women’s national handball teams and a preferential travel service provider.

During the presentation of the agreement at the offices of the Spanish Olympic Committee in Madrid, Iberia Sales Manager Marco Sansavini noted that “both the men’s and women’s national teams and the lesser categories in the federation, like Iberia itself, are ambassadors of Spain, and symbolise the effort, ambition, and teamwork which we in Iberia value so much.”
Under the two-year sponsorship agreement, Iberia will offer special fares and terms for travel by thenational handball teams and for events organised by the federation.
