  • Both airlines will donate one euro for every bottle of water sold onboard until October 31. These bottles will also be available in the Premium Lounge Velázquez and Dalí at Terminal 4
  • Iberia Express, which has been collaborating with the AECC for ten years, will donate one euro to the association for every ticket purchased on October 17

Once again, Iberia and Iberia Express are joining the global Breast Cancer Awareness Day, held on Sunday, October 19, to raise awareness about the importance of prevention and early detection of this disease. To mark the occasion, various initiatives have been designed both in the air and on the ground, with pink—the recognizable symbol of the fight against breast cancer—taking center stage.

Onboard nearly fifty short- and medium-haul Iberia Group flights, seats will be adorned with special pink headrest covers, and cabin lighting will be changed to the signature pink of this campaign. Additionally, as part of the initiative promoted by Solán de Cabras, the airline will donate one euro for every pink bottle of mineral water sold onboard, aiming to highlight the importance of research and early detection.
Iberia will also commemorate Breast Cancer Awareness Day on the ground. In its two Premium Lounges at Madrid Airport’s Terminal 4—Dalí and Velázquez—complimentary water bottles will be pink.

Solidarity Tickets from Iberia Express

Iberia Express, which has been supporting the AECC for ten years, is once again showing its commitment to the fight against breast cancer by launching a solidarity ticket campaign. For every passenger who purchases a ticket today, October 17, the airline will donate one euro to the Spanish Association Against Cancer (AECC). It will also donate the same amount for every bottle of water sold onboard until October 31, in collaboration with DO & CO and Immfly, its catering and onboard connectivity partners.

Furthermore, to support AECC’s prevention and awareness campaigns, Iberia Express offers a permanent section in its onboard entertainment system featuring educational content about the disease.
