Flying to Chicago? Iberia pilot Beatriz Urdiales recommends her favoutire places in the city

Beatriz Urdiales has been with Iberia since 2015, and since 2016 she has been a long-haul pilot. In addition, from January she holds the position of daily operations manager. Her favourite destination, of the almost 140 that Iberia flies to, is Chicago. Read on for her tips on visiting the city. 

A walk: You can walk or run on th shores of Lake Michigan, and end up on a tiny, wonderful beach. 

Delicatessen: A hamburger at the Grand Lux Café and, for dessert, a cake at The Cheesecake Factory. 

An unmissable museum: the Museum if Contemporary Art.

A shopping trips: The magnificent Mile, on Michigan Avenue.  

The best views: The skyline at the Adler Planetarium, next to the beach. 

If you're with the family: Take aboat trip and go to the aquarium and Union Station (it's in the movie The Untouchables by Elliot Ness).
