Iberia is once again present at FITUR with an impressive 600 sqm stand located in Pavillion 10 of IFEMA. This space has been designed to be completely accessible, adapting to the needs of people with physical, visual, and hearing disabilities.

To this end, magnetic loops offer improved sound quality for people with hearing loss who use hearing aids or cochlear implants. These devices eliminate background noise and provide clearer hearing. In addition, to ensure maximum inclusion, all events and presentations held at the stand will be accompanied by sign language interpretation, allowing people with hearing impairments to comfortably follow the activities.

The airline also prepared accessible information material, available to all visitors. This material provides detailed information on the initiatives Iberia is carrying out to improve accessibility on its flights, as well as on special services for passengers with specific needs.

Social impact

At this edition of FITUR, visitors to the Iberia stand will learn about the social impact generated by their trips with the airline. Through an application installed on tablets, they will have access to a calculator, certified by AENOR, which measures the positive impact of Iberia's activity on society. This tool allows them to find out about the jobs created and the contribution that their trips make to both the economy of Spain and that of the 48 countries in which the airline operates. This initiative is part of Iberia's aim to generate prosperity by connecting people from Spain with the world.

In addition to the social calculator, visitors will be able to try out other available services such as seat selection through virtual reality, which offers a realistic view of the inside of the aircraft, and the Pre-order service, which allows passengers to order their in-flight meals before the  flight; and learn about the benefits of the Stopover discount programme, designed for passengers on long-haul flights.

The A321XLR is the Star

The Airbus A321XLR, the new aircraft model that Iberia launched as a global airline last November, will play an important role. Visitors will be able to experience what it is like to travel in the Business and Economy seats of this aircraft and discover the extensive range of onboard entertainment systems.
The A321XLR is one of the most efficient aircraft on the market, with fuel savings of more than 40% compared to wide-body models. Visitors to FITUR will be able to witness first-hand the features of this aircraft, which can operate long-haul routes, combining comfort and technology.

Fly around the world without leaving FITUR

Flying without ever leaving the ground will be possible in this edition of FITUR thanks to Apple Vision Pro, the mixed reality glasses developed by Apple that combine augmented reality and virtual reality. Thanks to this technology, more than 2,300 cities and natural wonders of the planet can be explored in 3D using the Spatial Earth application designed exclusively for this type of glasses.

The Iberia shop is back

There will also be a shop with the airline's most iconic merchandising products, such as model A350s, shoelaces, socks, luggage tags, historical posters, key chains and much more.

The stand will have several meeting rooms and also a cafeteria, operated by Mahou. Like every year, the Iberia stand can be found in Pavillion 10, Stand C-02, North Entrance.
