Puente Aéreo tickets can now be booked with Avios

• Online check-in for flights paid in Avios available from 24 hours before flight departure
• And now more Avios can be awarded on these flights.
• Through the Iberia App, passengers can handle the whole process, from purchase to issuing the boarding pass.

The Puente Aéreo shuttle service between Madrid and Barcelona is now available to customers paying in Avios (loyalty points) for air shuttle flights operated by both Iberia and Vueling, and to check-in online for added convenience.

In addition, starting on 7 May additional Avios will be awarded to air shuttle passengers using Avios to buy their tickets.

Advantages of the Puente Aéreo

• The Puente Aéreo or air shuttle between Madrid and Barcelona consists of up to 26 flights on work days and 15 on weekends, departing every 30 minutes or every 15 minutes at peak times. The air shuttle flights are operated by both Iberia and Vueling.
• Customers can choose between a reservation and an open ticket for the walk-on service. With an open ticket, they can fly at any time and choose your seat with no charge.
• Through the Iberia’s website and app, customers can buy tickets and issue their boarding passes from 24 hours to 60 minutes before flight departure.
• To save customers more time, there is a special check-in and security control area for air shuttle flights, and the aircraft used in the air shuttle service are parked nearby.
