For the fifth consecutive year, Iberia is sponsoring the award given by the public at the PLATINO Awards for Ibero-American Cinema. The airline acts as an ambassador for Spanish and Hispanic talent as well as a bridge between Europe and the Americas.
By clicking on this link it is possible to vote for best picture, best actress, and best actor. Those who vote before 11 April will qualify to take part in a draw for a three-night stay for two people in a Riviera Maya hotel where they may attend the award ceremony and a gala dinner. The prize includes air travel to and from the event.
Iberia’s support of the Ibero-American Cinema Awards comes within the framework of its #Talentoabordo project, in which it promotes Spanish and Latin American talent and culture in the nearly 50 countries it serves.
In April, Iberia passengers on its routes to the Americas, Asia, and Africa will be able to choose films nominated for “Best Picture” in this year’s PLATINO awards. These include Yuli, El Reino, El Ángel, Yo no me llamo Rubén Blades, and Viaje al cuarto de una madre.
Iberia is the leading airline for flights between Europe and Latin America, with nearly 280 flights each week between the two regions. In addition, it has just announced plans to increase the number of flights to Mexico –where the PLATINO award ceremony is to take place-- and also to Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, and Uruguay.
