Iberia will schedule 20 Madrid-Barcelona additional flights during this year’s Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.
Between 23 February and 1 March, the airline will offer 3,600 extra seats on the route. Some 2,400 companies and more than 100,000 people are expected to attend the annual Barcelona event.
These additional flights will be operated with Iberia’s Airbus A320s that can seat up to 180 passengers.

The “Puente Aéreo” (“air bridge”) walk-on shuttle service between Spain’s two largest cities offers 26 daily flights, 16 operated by Iberia and 10 by Vueling, with up to four flights per hour at peak times, starting at 06:30 h. and ending with a 2130 h, flight from Barcelona and a 21:45 h. flight from Madrid.
