The entire month of February features the Madrid Design Festival in the Spanish capital, with numerous exhibits and displays throughout the city showing off modern Spanish design. The initiative comprises 202 activities, including 53 exhibitions at 12 sites, involving 410 art and design professionals, 28 museums and other institutions, as well as 30 brands.
Iberia’s contribution to the Madrid Design Festival is the installation entitled “From Madrid to the Heavens” which is now open at the city’s Only You hotel.
The installation, designed for Iberia by the Preforma studio, includes representations of the several artistic disciplines featured in the airline’s #Talentoabordo (“talent aboard”) project, in which it promotes Spanish culture and creativity aboard its aircraft.
Iberia’s Brand and Marketing Director, Gemma Juncá commented: “Using a sky with clouds and words we help the viewer discover the art, design, fashion, and cinema produced by Spanish creative talents that we support and promote via our #Talentoabordo project. We are proud to act as ambassadors for Spanish culture wherever we fly to.”
