Startin on 13 December Iberia will operate direct flights four times per week between Madrid and Guayaquil -pending government approval. This is the best service in the market, and offers optimal connections to Iberia destinations in Spain and the rest of Europe.
Thus the Spanish airline is strengthening its leadership in flgiths between Europe and Latin America, as well as its Madrid hub.

Iberia also supplies six flgihts a week to the capital of Ecuador, Quito, and plans to add another weekly flight in July, for a daily service.
Guayaquil, Ecuador’s largest city, is a major Latin American market and Iberia is adjusting to rising demand for travel to and from Europe.
More Changes to Long-Haul Flights
Ibiera now flies once daily to Lima, the captial of Ecuador’s soyutnern neighbour Peru, and will add three more weekly frequencies in July. In the same months it will also raise the number of weekly return flights to Bogota from seven to ten.
Currently summer-only flights to Puerto Rico will now be continued in the winter season, with three per week.
