Starting today, tourism to Spain’s green northern coastal region of Cantabria is being promoted at 37 Iberia destinations in Europe and North Africa by means of a newly decorated Iberia A321, which now displays images of the Cabárceno wildlife park.

The A321 -registered as EC-IJN- with the image of the famous Cantabrian tourism attraction made its first flight this morning from Madrid to Cantabria’s capital city, Santander. Flight IB552 took off from T4 in the Madrid airport at 07:35 h. and arrived exactly one hour later in Santander, where it was met by a small committee of local officials and journalists.

In the next few days the new aircraft will fly to London, Paris, Barcelona, Bilbao and Asturias, amongst other destinations.
