Norway becomes part of Iberia network

  • With flights to both Oslo and Bergen, the Spanish airline will offer nearly 43,000 seats on the route between Spain and Norway this year

 

Iberia is soon to launch two new routes from Madrid to the Norwegian cities of Oslo and Bergen, making Norway the third Scandinavia country served by the Spanish airline, after Denmark and Sweden.

Oslo Flights All Year Round

With four flights per week, Iberia’s services to Oslo will continue throughout the year.

Know for its Viking heritage, its international multi-genre music festival, and its fish market, Bergen is the ideal departure point for exploring the Norwegian fiords.

The times of the flight from Madrid to Bergen and to Oslo facilitates connections from more than 20 cities in Spain, as well as from Lisbon and Porto in Portugal. Airbus A320 family aircraft carrying  141 or 200 passengers in business and economy class will be used on these routes, on which a total of nearly 43,000 seats will be offered in 2019.

Oslo and Bergen are the Iberia Group’s third and fourth Scandinavian destination, after Copenhagen, served with a daily return flight by Iberia Express, and Stockholm, also with daily service. In addition, Iberia flies to Helsinki, Kuopio, Oulu, and Rovaniemi in Finland under code-sharing with Finnair, its partner in the oneworld alliance.
