Vacunas Melilla y canarias

Iberia Group airlines and IAG Cargo has transported its first shipments of the Moderna Covid-19 vaccine to Spain’s Canary Islands and Melilla.

The first shipments were made yesterday, on an Iberia Express flight, IB3826, which flew from Madrid to Gran Canaria, and on another Iberia Regional / Air Nostrum from Malaga to Melilla, in total 13,200 doses

Iberia Group airlines have also taken shipments of the Pfizer Covid-19 vaccine from Brussels to the Spanish Canary and Balearic islands by way of Madrid, and it will also transport the Moderna vaccine to both archipelagos and Melilla as required.

IAG Cargo’s Constant Climate product already plays a vital role in the distribution of vaccines, transporting millions of temperature sensitive pharmaceutical products every year. In 2019 they opened a brand-new pharmaceutical centre in Madrid dedicated to processing temperature-sensitive pharmaceutical products.
