Iberia to Schedule 70 Flights per Week to U.S. this Winter Season

The U.S. government has announced that on 8 November the country’s airports will be open to holiday travellers from the European Union.

In the U.S. and other markets where Covid restrictions are being lifted, Iberia is planning a major comeback, with 70 return flights per week from Spain to the US destinations it has been serving on a reduced basis throughout the pandemic.

It will offer 10 weekly flights to New York and Miami, five to Chicago, and three to Boston and to Los Angeles. In addition, the Spanish airline will operate four weekly flights to Puerto Rico, where it has a JBA with American Airlines,  British Airways. and Finnair.

 

117 US Destinations

Thanks to code-sharing arrangements with local carriers, Iberia passengers can book to an additional 117 U.S. cities. A few days ago the airline added 37 destinations on the West Coast, under agreements with Alaska Airlines and Level.

 

Flights from 111 euros one-way

To encourage customers to resume air travel, Iberia is offering fares as low as 111 euros one-way from Madrid to Miami, 123 euros to New York, and 131 euros to Chicago.

Packages including four nights in a New York hotel start at 399 euros.

These fares will be available until 20 October for travel between November and the end of next March at iberia.com.
