Iberia is the most punctual airline in Europe for the sixth consecutive month

In October, Iberia crowned the punctuality ranking of airlines, as confirmed by the international consulting firm Cirium. -formerly FlightStats-. This marks the sixth consecutive month the Spanish airline has headed this list.

Last month, 86.89% of Iberia’s flights, out of a total of 13,530, arrived on time at their destinations. It should be noted that this data represents an increase of almost three percentage points compared to September (84%), when Iberia was also the most punctual airline in Europe.

These good results are part of Iberia's efforts to offer its customers the best service, with punctuality playing a key role. Commenting on this, the airline’s president, Javier Sánchez-Prieto, said, "After a challenging summer, where we faced many difficulties, we still managed to offer the best standards of punctuality. We continue working to maintain these good results so that customers feel that they are at the centre of our commitment. Punctuality is the greatest achievement of Iberia’s staff, a team that rows together and in the same direction”.

Additionally, as shown by the Cirium ranking, Iberia has also established itself among the most punctual airlines in the world, standing in sixth place, an improvement from September, when it was in seventh place.
