Aaron’s Appointment with Manchester City

He’s only eight years old, but Aaron is the biggest fan of Manchester City. Make a Wish knows that he never misses a match, and the foundation, which is always aware of the wishes of children, didn’t want to miss a chance to give him a surprise. Aaron travelled to Manchester to make his dream come true: going to one of his favourite team’s matches. This incredible adventure began in Murcia, where Aaron and his parents took a train to Madrid to fly to Manchester with Iberia.

They had three tickets to see Manchester City play against Chelsea. Aaron’s eyes were full of excitement and his mother says it has been an experience they will never forget. Although Aaron is quite shy, his big smile was on display throughout the trip. It was something that will stay with them forever.

Aaron suffers a neurological illness which hinders his movement. This trip was a way of rewarding him for being so resilient and for always working to overcome obstacles, day after day. Aaron finds in football, specifically in his favourite team, a reason to keep on going.
