The European Cup Final Can Be Watched Live on Board Iberia Planes

• It is the first time that an event can be watched live on the airline's planes, at 30,000 feet above sea level.

• It will be streamed by Sport24 on the airline's Wi-Fi service, on all its international flights.

• This weekend, the Iberia Group offers more than 1,000 seats to travel to Germany to support La Roja.

• The National Team will return to Spain on Monday at noon on a special Iberia flight.

Iberia customers who will be travelling on an international Iberia flight this Sunday will be able to enjoy the European Cup final live on board the plane.

The airline will offer free Wi-Fi on all its international flights so that customers can follow the game through their mobile devices, by accessing the Sport24 stream.

It is the first time that an event can be watched live on Iberia planes, at 30,000 feet above sea level, even over the Atlantic.

Over 1000 Seats to Support La Roja

This weekend the Iberia Group offers more than 1,100 seats to travel to Germany and support the Spanish National Team.

Iberia Express usually offers three daily flights to Berlin, operated with Airbus A320 aircraft with capacity for 180 passengers, which means 540 seats per day in each direction. To make it easier for fans to travel to Berlin, a larger plane (A321neo with capacity for 232 passengers) is scheduled for flights at 15:55pm and 20:00pm on Saturday, and at 7:30am and 15:55pm on Sunday. This means there will be 208 additional seats on offer.

Additionally, Iberia increased the capacity of flights between Sunday and Monday to Hamburg and Prague, destinations where there has been an increase in demand due to the Final, so it will offer 8% more seats.

On Monday, Iberia and Iberia Express will also operate an additional flight each, with an A350 and A321 respectively, from Berlin to Madrid to bring fans and their families home.

And the National Team will fly back to Spain on Monday at noon, on an Iberia flight, once again.
