Iberia will launch a new destination this winter for all ski lovers: Innsbruck. This Austrian city is only one hour away from the best European slopes for the practice of this sport.
The new route will be available from 1 December 2024 to 26 March 2025 with two weekly frequencies between Madrid and Innsbruck and will be operated by A320NEO aircraft.
During these four months, Iberia will offer a total of 11,500 seats available to the Austrian Tyrolean capital.
Tickets are on sale from today at iberia.com from 119 euros each way buying a return ticket.
Innsbruck joins Iberia's range of winter destinations along with Salzburg, also in Austria, Tromsø, in Norway, and Rovaniemi, capital of Lapland and birthplace - and official hometown – of Santa Klaus.
Innsbruck
Innsbruck, capital of the western Austrian state of Tyrol, is an exceptional winter sports destination in the Alps. The Winter Olympics were held here twice: in 1964 and 1976. Innsbruck has 12 ski resorts in the surrounding area and more than 300 kilometres of slopes where you can enjoy a variety of sports.
Innsbruck is also known for its imperial and modern architecture. Its world-famous monuments bear witness to a great history and coexist with excellent international post-modernist architecture. Highlights include the Golden Roof with its 2,657 gilded copper tiles, the Imperial Palace and its magnificent reception halls, the Swarovski Crystal Worlds Garden and its Chamber of Wonders, among many other attractions.
